Collaboration – loved it! I really appreciated how well Carol listened to my preferences and ideas and came up with a design that embraced and enhanced what I wanted in my garden. I especially loved the result that came from my wacky Japanese-maple-in-a-pot idea for the front yard. Carol’s design for that is one of my favorite outcomes of her expertise in collaboration.
Phone interviews – great way to manage time at the beginning of the process. It helped me learn more about my existing garden and then understand more deeply how I wanted it to change. The process also helped me better articulate to Carol what was important to me in the design.

I’m so impressed with Carol’s depth of knowledge about plants and how to care for them as well as her artistry in plant and materials selections and placement. She was wonderful about working with an existing patio design, changing it just enough to make it more interesting and to accommodate more plants, which was one of my goals. I wanted an interesting, artistic garden and Carol delivered on this and then some. I’m so grateful to her for designing a place of peace and inspiration
